As part of the 4th Open Source Festival SUNY Albany,
The Second VistA Workshop took place on March 28th.
Attendees included students, faculty and staff of the State University of New York at Albany.
The Workshop was organized in coordination between:
- DSS Inc
- The University of Albany Student Chapter of The Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T)
The topics covered in the Workshop included
- Introduction to VistA and the VistA Extensions Hub by Fabian Lopez, DSS Inc.

- Developing VistA / CPRS Extensions, by Kevin Wright, DSS Inc.
The workshop actively engaged a full room, with 35 attendees, for three hours,
in a warm environment where together we learned from the VistA experts in the room.
Special Thanks to
Fabian Lopez and Kevin Wright from DSS Inc., for driving the majority of the Workshop;
and to Jerry Sicard (VA) for sharing his expertise on VistA with the many students in the audience.
