Larry Meyer, MD, PhD, Professor of Dermatology and Internal Medicine, and Associate Chief of Staff, Research, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, has specialized expertise in medical dermatology, genetic skin disease, and management of complex patients with multiple medical problems. Dr. Meyer's main clinical focus is immunobullous diseases and genetic diseases.
Dr. Meyer, as the National Director for Genomic Medicine for the VAMC, has been involved in the roll out of the largest program in the United States for a nationwide, personalized healthcare system. He is also a member of the University Hospitals and Clinics Personalized Health Care Executive Advisory Committee. Previously, he was the Program Director for Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Meyer is currently the chair of the Dermatology Retention, Promotion, and Tenure Committe.
