We call it a banquet, but people are walking out of a meeting where they are wearing shirts and slacks going right to the "banquet". -- Nancy Anthracite On Monday, June 04, 2012, Gerry Higgins wrote: > Tom- > > I got roped into attending this banquet at George Mason by my wife. Tools for DD( comparisons

Has anyone came up with any tools for doing comparisons of the Data Dictionaries of the various implementations of VistA?  Checksums seem to be a simple thing to compare.

I've been toying with something to produces checksums on the DD nodes, using depth first recursive decent.   I'm not sure what is 'sufficient' and what eventually becomes just too much information.  For example:

  - a Checksum on the entire file.

  - a Checksum on each field in the file

  - a Checksum on each XREF on each field
