Sorry, but I don't reply to pseudonymous participants...

After many years of electronic communications via email, lists, bulletin boards, etc.  I have adopted a policy that I don't respond to people who don't publicly identify themselves.  I always post under my own name, and, given the flood of messages I have to filter through, my first filter is to ignore folks who don't identify themselves directly or through their profile.

I don't mean to be offensive, it is just that I have to manage my information overload in some way, and this improves the signal/noise ration.

follow up on SOA/ESB discussion

I got cut off from the call yesterday before being able to ask my question, so I'll post it now.

The speaker spoke about loose coupling as a feature of SOA and listed several types.  However, from my perspective, these all seemed to be "tight coupling."  I didn't see any recognition of linguistic coupling - using language to bind they space together in a semantic sense, rather than pre-defined, APIs that only deal with the syntax of the interaction.

KIDS/Certification Wiki Online

Greetings Code Convergence Participants;

Per the conversation we held yesterday, I started a skeleton Wiki for coordinating the requirements of KIDS files and Certification, titled:

KIDS/Certification Submission Requirements

It is very brief, please feel free to edit, revise, comment, and contribute as you see fit, so we can best document this process moving forward.

Thanks;

Matt

Code Convergence now at 3:30 EST

Good Afternoon All;

We had a lighter than normal turnout last week for code convergence, possibly due to the shift in meeting time.  Please note, code convergence now meets at 3:30 PM EST on Wednesdays, as opposed to our previous time of 3:00 PM EST.

Thanks;

Matt
