OSHERA Now Partnered with HIMSS

OSEHRA was recently welcomed as a Non-Profit Partner Member of HIMSS, the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society – another significant collaboration step to help move the healthcare industry forward for the better!

OSEHRA is also now listed among over 300 healthcare- progressive, Non-Profit and Not-for-Profit entities at the HIMSS Non-Profit Partners page as well as gains access to become part of mHIMSS – the HIMSS global mobile health initiative, where stakeholders are convened to ensure the adoption of mobile and wireless technologies to improve health and healthcare.

Becoming a Non-Profit Partner of HIMSS affords OSEHRA expanded collaboration opportunities with the HIMSS community and access to the additional tools and resources HIMSS brings together for further OSEHRA successes.

“The recent OSEHRA Summit generated an unprecedented momentum for open source initiatives in health IT and we plan to become a strong proponent of open source issues in the HIMSS community”, according to Dr. Seong K. Mun, OSEHRA President and CEO.

We look forward to exploring and expanding our partnership with HIMSS – joining forces to lead in healthcare change!

Does this mean OSEHRA members can now join HIMSS by proxy or other mechanism?

Nope. You still have to sign up separately as individuals.
