problem while integrating vitals with CPRS

There is another problem we are facing when we are trying to merge vitals with CPRS V28 it say incompatible version. We have downloaded Vitals from http://www.osehra.org/document/guis-used-automatic-functional-testing While CPRS is downloaded from http://www.osehra.org/wiki/cprs-connection-vm

Add Dll versions for system

Christopher Edwards's picture

You probably need to setup the version dlls for your system.  Below is some mumps code to do it for you.  You must be logged in with the VistA environment variables set and at a programmer prompt.

S GMVDLL="GMV_VITALSVIEWENTER.DLL:v. 08/11/09 15:00"

D EN^XPAR("SYS","GMV DLL VERSION",GMVDLL,1)

S GMVDLL="GMV_VITALSVIEWENTER.DLL:v. 01/21/11 12:52"

D EN^XPAR("SYS","GMV DLL VERSION",GMVDLL,1)

S GMVGUI="VITALSMANAGER.EXE:5.0.26.1"

D EN^XPAR("SYS","GMV GUI VERSION",GMVGUI,1)

Chris,
Thanks for the prompt reply. At present we have a problem with version
compatibility are you saying following will fix the problem.

And by doing that we can merge Vitals all from following location
http://www.osehra.org/document/guis-used-automatic-functional-testing

and CPRS from following location

Vitals Package

Christopher Edwards's picture

Jignesh:

When the vitals package is initially installed or patched (and requires a new dll/exe version) the KIDS build will run code similar to what I posted (infact that is where it came from) to setup the dll/exe version for that system.

If the domain of the system is changed during the initial setup of VistA the parameters don't exist, so you get a dll/exe version mismatch.

Does that make sense?

I am having following error while using Vitals from CPRS.
However Vitals GUI works well while using independently.

text of error?

Do you have an error text?  I assume that the error you are posting is an attachment and the website doesn't support attachments.

Missing DLL

Joseph Snyder's picture

Hi Jignesh,

The DLL that you are missing (GMV_VitalsViewEnter.dll)  is included in the funtionaltestinggui.zip that you originally downloaded.   All three files ( *.dll/ *.cnt / *.hlp)  need to be placed in the same location that the Vitals GUI was installed to, but in a folder called "Common Files".

For Example:

My Vitals installer put the Vitals executables in C:/Program Files(x86)/Vista/Vitals/. Then I placed the 3 GMV_VitalsViewEnter files into  C:/Program Files(x86)/Vista/Common Files/

More details can be found:

Also there is a VDL manual that describes the installation process:  http://www.va.gov/vdl/documents/Clinical/Vitals_Measurements/vitl5_p23_ig.pdf

We have another problem. When I click on the Patient inquiry I don't see
any data coming up.
How to bring data for the Patient in Patient Inquiry screen?
