VA Open Source Policy Comments Ad Hoc Work Group

This ad hoc Work Group has been established to facilitate collaboration on a set of comments regarding the forthcoming VA Open Source Policy.  This policy has been referenced as "(TBD)" in the current T4 Next Generation (T4NG) RFI, which presents an opportunity to provide comments as part of the RFI Response. 

The Documents tab for this Work Group is a repository of open source policy comments and documents that can be accessed or downloaded by the OSEHRA community.  Relevant documents can be uploaded by members to this repository to be shared with the community.

Note that in order to prevent unwanted spam, all comments and uploaded documents will be published only after it has been approved by the OSEHRA management.

=> Overall this is too long, and is not as specific as it needs to be to be enforceable. 

=> There are no 'consequences' for noncompliance.

=> The technical arguments are weak or fuzzy; they need much more clear statements about redaction

=> Recommend eliminating all buzzwords  (Agile, etc.) and focus on actual tangible deliverables. 

=> Recommend shortening, and including, in quotations, those sections that VA would consider putting in its own internal policy
