Description:

OSEHRA has been awarded a contract from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) entitled, Open Source Technical Support and Working Group Services for VA VistA.  This webinar will introduce the OSEHRA Community to the tasks and deliverables involved in this contract, including the processes to be used for analysis, identification, prioritization, and code certification.  The contract will “tee up” desirable open source code for intake by VA, based upon an analysis of VA’s needs and the capabilities of the identified open source code.

OSEHRA’s approach to this contract is based upon continuous and extensive participation of community members in every phase of the project.  Don Hewitt and Ramina Toy from OSEHRA, and Brad Triebwasser from BITS will explain the approach, the processes, and the many opportunities for community participation.

Presenter: Don Hewitt, Vice President Business Operations, OSEHRA
Ramina Toy, Program Manager OSEHRA
Brad Tribewasser, BITS Team Lead
