Seong K. Mun, PhD
President and CEO
Seong K. Mun, PhD, is a consummate builder and explorer of new concepts. As a Professor of Radiology at Georgetown University until 2007, he pioneered work in teleradiology, PACS, telemedicine, e-health, global disease surveillance and open source surgical robotics. As a Georgetown Medical Center’s Associate Vice President, he provided oversight of the department’s congressional affairs for 12 years. Currently he is a tenured faculty member of the Virginia Tech Research Center, Arlington, VA, and is working on a sleep imaging study and the development of smart-phones for medics. Dr. Mun is a recipient of the General Max Thurman Award for Excellence in Military Medical Research for his contribution to military medicine. His full resume.

A technology management consultant, Mr. Hewitt came to OSEHRA in June 2012 as part of a VA contract to establish OSEHRA’s independent corporate operation. Following successful completion of that contract, he joined OSEHRA on a consulting basis to manage OSEHRA’s business operations. Mr. Hewitt currently serves on the Board of PatchAdvisor, Inc., a network security consulting company, and also serves as a cyber-security subject matter expert for the InterAgency Board for Equipment Standardization and Interoperability (IAB).

Ramina Toy

Ramina Toy, MS, PMP, is a contracting professional whose specialty is in the federal arena. Ms. Toy also serves as the Program Manager on the Open Source Technical Support and Working Group Services for VA VistA contract. Most recently, Ms. Toy worked for Georgetown University where she was the Contract Manager for a situational awareness project, which provided global analysis for the Intelligence Community. She also received her Master of Science in Information Systems Technology in 2014 from George Washington University. Throughout her career, Ms. Toy has become well versed in risk management, forecasting, and proposal work.

Peter Li, CISSP

Peter Li has 29 years of experience in information systems and computer networks engineering. As the director of engineering for the Argus program at Georgetown University, he lead the Georgetown team that developed the Argus Bisurveillance system and was awarded the Intelligence Medal of Merit from ODNI. As an entrepreneur at KLT Telecom, he led the development of the VIEWSEND RAD PACS and Telemedicine/Teleradiology system that became the telemedicine standards for the Japanese Self Defense Force. For the past year he has co-chaired the Architecture Working Group and led the effort to validate the “as-is” VistA architecture. His other responsibilities include the O&M of the OSEHRA IT infrastructure. His full resume.
Anthony Fischetti
Project Administrator
Anthony Fischetti is a recent graduate from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, earning a B.S. in Information Systems. After interning at OSEHRA for three summers, during which he lead the initiative for helping OSEHRA receive ANSI Accredited SDO status, he came on-board full-time as Project Administrator for the Open Source Technical Support and Working Group Services for VA VistA contract. Some responsibilities include providing support for OSEHRA's contract-associated Technical Working Groups and working closely with all of the deliverables for the contract.

Joseph Snyder is one of the Software Process Engineers for OSEHRA and an R&D Engineer at Kitware. Mr. Snyder is involved with several medical computing projects at Kitware that leverage an agile, high-quality software process to ensure first-rate software development. His extensive experience with cutting-edge software engineering projects spans bioinformatics and medical imaging. Mr. Snyder earned his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Brad King is a founding member of Kitware’s Software Process group, focusing on methods and tools for open source software development. As a member of the Software Process group, Dr. King plays a key role in Kitware’s software infrastructure; he designed and currently maintains Kitware's software version control infrastructure, which is based on Git. This infrastructure organizes and integrates work from both Kitware employees and outside contributors. Dr. King brings this expertise to OSEHRA as the Repository Manager. Dr. King’s received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
