Getting "Help" E-mails

Have we been getting any "help" e-mails from folks?  I don't seem to be recieving any to any of my addresses.  Wanted to bring that to the group's attention.  Wasn't sure if it was just me or what!

Thanks,

Savannah

Not email, but seemed awfully like a help request.

This user has three things he's worried about, but didn't post them to us directly. (Wonder if he should have, or if he just wants to make us work to find complaints?)

1. User tried to comment to a "document" and ended up creating a "discussion" thread instead. Can these be backlinked to each other?

2. Can digest settings be flagged to "if there's no news, there's no digest email"?

Home--> notification settings-->edit my notification settings-->[here you an edit frequency of notification, but not select on a finer grade what you receive]     so I think the answer there is "no" unless moving from "Immediately" to a longer interval will eliminate the more frequent checks?

3. "out of office" replies are coming to a user? I wonder if this isn't a setting in gmail rather than something within Osehra, perhaps it's related to being the admin of a group rather than merely a participant? Idon't have a group of my own, I haven't seen this, I am not sure how to replicate or address the issue.

I haven't replied to his blog post, should I suggest that he email support@osehra and we'll look into it, rather than sticking out my neck with resolutions?

Getting "Help" E-mails

I have never seen the out of office responses either and I am the admin on a couple of groups. I am not sure how to explain this.

One wonders if we can turn the digest OFF since we get e-mail immediately when things are posted, making the digest redundant (I have them set to auto delete).

I am hoping that moderating each group will allow us to move the content and inform the author of what we did, thereby providing interactive education opportunities.
