This group will provide a forum for the discussion of open source software issues for the VA Enterprise Health Management Platform (eHMP) project.  Make sure that the community is well informed and has the opportunity to participate in eHMP as part of the open source software initiative.

Discussion on Future of eHMP on October 18

We would like to thank Dr. Shane McNamee and his partners for Wednesday’s presentation on the most recent accomplishments of the Enterprise Health Management Platform (eHMP) project.  We encourage those who were unable to attend to view the recording of the call, which will be available next week here.

Final eHMP TWG Meeting on October 11, 2017

The next Enterprise Health Management Platform (eHMP) Technical Working Group (TWG) meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017.   Dr. Shane McNamee of the Veterans Health Administration will present a series of new capabilities in eHMP related to discharge care coordination.  Join us to see a demo of this functionality which will likely be included in future software releases to OSEHRA.

"Electronic health records (EHRs) have become one of the greatest administrative challenges facing physicians today. They are associated with time-consuming data entry that can interfere with the patient-physician relationship and diminished physician well-being. Finding ways to overcome EHR burdens is vital for maintaining professional satisfaction, increasing efficiency and improving relationships."

Thank you to all who attended Monday's eHMP Technical Working Group Meeting.  A special thanks to KRM Associates, Inc. for an excellent presentation on their Light Enterprise Application Framework (LEAF).
