Last week, an RFP was issued for the Cumberland County Department of Public Health (DPH). Cumberland County, North Carolina is seeking proposals from qualified firms to supply an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to support the County Department of Public Health clinical and ancillary operations. Their goal is to migrate the existing EHR system to a comprehensive EHR solution that meets the County's needs to include meaningful use requirements, HIPPA compliance, Advanced Medical Home (AMH) requirements, and care management. The proposed system should meet current business needs, streamline and improve the process of receiving services, and allow for future growth. The submission deadline for this RFP is next Monday, May 6, 2019 at 3:00PM EDT.
We strongly encourage interested community members to review the full proposal here and consider submitting an open source solution.
