OSEHRA’s 7th Annual Open Source Summit, The Open Road for Government Innovation, begins one week from today! We have confirmed an exciting line up of speakers and presentations, and we encourage you to visit our Summit website here to view our updated schedule of events.
As you may have seen in today’s FedHealthIT article, this year’s event runs from July 18 to July 20 and promises to be our most diverse ever, with a dozen Federal and State agencies participating and highlighting their open source initiatives and industry progress. Our agenda includes something for everyone with a combination of engaging track sessions, town hall discussion, and Plenary events. We are very pleased to welcome Mr. Ed Simcox, Acting Chief Technology Officer, Health and Human Services, and MG Lee E. Payne, MD, Assistant Director for Combat Support Agency, Defense Health Agency as Keynote Speakers.
Thursday’s Plenary Session also features speakers and panelists from agencies such as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Indian Health Service (IHS), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Defense (DoD), National Security Agency (NSA), National Science Foundation (NSF), Social Security Administration (SSA), and Veterans Health Administration (VHA). Wednesday and Friday are comprised of over thirty track presentations on technical, clinical, and management topics of interest. Wednesday will also feature a special working session on the Veterans Affairs Partnership to increase Access to Lung Screening (VA-PALS).
We expect this to be a highly interactive Summit with unique networking opportunities. If you have not yet registered to join us, there is still time. Click here to learn more and register now!
