RE: exporting QRDA Cat1 files

Hi Mahesh,

I believe this is a new template that was added in support of Cat-1 R4.  It was only added recently in April 2017.  We certified back in February 2017.

To get this to work, we will need to update the Health-Data-Standard (HDS) module from Cypress.  I will ask the Alabama Medicaid team to expedite this update.

Peter

Please see patient is Bessie, Mason. This patient has following template in source QRDA1 but popHealth doesn't export it and that's why QRDA1 test fails for this measure.

RE: exporting QRDA Cat1 files

Peter Li's picture

Hi Mahesh,

Sesha Chimmapudi of Alabama Medicaid has agreed to refresh the OSEHRA HDS to the latest update from Cypress HDS.  His projection is to complete the merge in about a week’s time frame.

Just as Zato Health have done.  You can get you system certified for the 2015 Edition by inheriting OSEHRA 2015 Edition Certification, without having to go through the Cypress testing again.

RE: exporting QRDA Cat1 files

M D's picture
Hi Peter

As we went for certification (with Drummond), even though we told them that we are inheriting PopHealth for c2,c3 and C4, they expected us to demonstrate automatic import and export of QRDA1 files. We failed the criteria because it was not exporting template Communication from provider to provider. Last time you mentioned that Sesha Chimmapudi of Alabama Medicaid has agreed to refresh the OSEHRA HDS to the latest update from Cypress HDS. Will it be possible for you to help us as we cannot see that in latest PopHealth yet. Unfortunately proctor has given us only 1 week for this. I will appreciate any help to resolve this.

<templateId extension="2016-02-01" root="2.16.840.1.113883.10.20.24.3.4"/>

  • If you have any manual steps for HDS refresh we can do that.
  • If you have any pointer for proctor which will eliminate the demonstration of import/ export of QRDA1 that will be fine too.

Thanks
Mahesh

Just as Zato Health have done.  You can get you system certified for the 2015 Edition by inheriting OSEHRA 2015 Edition Certification, without having to go through the Cypress testing again.

RE: exporting QRDA Cat1 files

Hello

Anybody has an idea on how I should update HDS to the latest one? Latest HDS should allow exporting QRDA1 with additional templates. Should I edit Gemfile.lock before install with correct tree of HDS as below?

Thanks

<templateId extension="2016-02-01" root="2.16.840.1.113883.10.20.24.3.4"/>

  • If you have any manual steps for HDS refresh we can do that.
  • If you have any pointer for proctor which will eliminate the demonstration of import/ export of QRDA1 that will be fine too.

Thanks
Mahesh

There are differences in HDS used by Cypress 3.2 and PopHealth. Is there any easy way to upgrade HDS for PopHealth to use current one so that Cypress testing passes for C1.

I’ve tested the latest Cypress HDS.  There are some issues with the QRDA-CAT 1 import/export using the latest Cypress HDS.  I believe it is because Cypress 3.2 has been using another component called cdatool for QRDA CAT 1 processing.  I’m not sure if Cypress with continue to maintain HDS for CAT 1 processing.

We are in the process of updating popHealth to use the cdatool.  The Cypress HDS will be used still for QRDA CAT-3 processing.

I think for now we need only Cat1 export errors. If we can fix that it will be helpful. I tried using latest tree by mentioning in in gemlock file. Some errors got addresses. But still laboratory orders, diagnostic studies etc are not getting exported in QRDA1 file. Please see attached sample file. If you import and export it will not export diagnostic studies and lab results.

We are inheriting PopHealth for MU2015. And proctor is expecting us to demonstrate import and export part. Import part worked fine but export is not working. It is failing many measures. Any idea how it is to get working atleast for certification?

We are using bundle 2017 from Cypress (3.2)

Thanks

I’ve tested the latest Cypress HDS.  There are some issues with the QRDA-CAT 1 import/export using the latest Cypress HDS.  I believe it is because Cypress 3.2 has been using another component called cdatool for QRDA CAT 1 processing.  I’m not sure if Cypress with continue to maintain HDS for CAT 1 processing.

We are in the process of updating popHealth to use the cdatool.  The Cypress HDS will be used still for QRDA CAT-3 processing.

Hi

There are differences in HDS used by Cypress 3.2 and PopHealth. Is there any easy way to upgrade HDS for PopHealth to use current one so that Cypress testing passes for C1.

Thanks

Mahesh
