Mark your calendars for an important upcoming virtual community meeting. Please plan to join us Friday, August 16 at 1:00PM ET for an open community call. As most of you know, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs terminated funding for OSEHRA in early 2018. Since that time, the Board of Directors and staff have been actively working on organizational and funding options. At this point, the Board has determined that unless additional funding can be obtained by September 30 of this year, OSEHRA will cease operations on that date. Before we implement our shutdown plan, we would like to review it with our community members, and hear any concerns/suggestions you might have. Transparency is a hallmark of the open source community, and we hope that this call will ensure that the community is well informed.
Participation is encouraged from the entire community – you do not have to be a dues-paying member of OSEHRA to join the call. We are asking everyone to login using their computer if possible to ensure you can view visuals and interactively participate. Your full-name is requested at login as it will allow us to identify and unmute participants if needed during discussion.
