This is the first major release since v3.0 was transitioned to the OSEHRA popHealth community in 2014. The v4.0 release is a significant update to the original reference implementation that provides for basic Meaningful Use (MU) quality measure reporting.
Arlington, VA – As it opens the 2015 OSEHRA Open Source Summit in Bethesda, Maryland, the Open Source Electronic Health Record Alliance, Inc. (OSEHRA) has announced the availability of a new, community-based open source product.
OSEHRA CEO Dr. Seong K. Mun visited Corporate Member Electronic Health Solutions (EHS) in May. EHS, whose flagship Hakeem Program is deploying open source VistA as a national EHR for the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, posted the attached press release describing the visit.

McDonald, U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs, will serve as the keynote speaker for its fourth annual summit, entitled Community-Powered Healthcare IT Solutions. Secretary McDonald will speak on the morning of July 30 at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center.
Arlington, VA – The Open Source Electronic Health Record Alliance (OSEHRA) is pleased to announce that it has been accredited as a Standards Development Organization (SDO) by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). This accreditation allows OSEHRA to begin utilizing its approved operating procedures to document consensus and create OSEHRA-sponsored American National Standards.
